Course of Studies :
The course of studies is prescribed by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) Upper Primary and Secondary: English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Science (History, Civics, Geography and Economics), MIL (Khasi), Hindi.
The other subjects are Health and Physical Education, Computer Science, Environmental Studies, Creative Expression, Moral and Value Education.
Uniform :
Decorum:
The School Uniform is compulsory on all class days and at School functions. Pupils should come to school clean and tidy. The hair should be well trimmed and combed.
Boys: White shirt, dark green trousers, school sweater, T. shirt, striped yellow, maroon necktie, dark green socks and black shoes.
Girls: White shirt, dark green skirts, school sweater, T. shirt, striped yellow, maroon necktie, dark green socks, black shoes and white ribbon, dark green belt.
Admission/Withdrawal:
Admission in Little Star English School are given by the Headmistress in accordance with the addmission policy of the institutions.
Application for admission may be collected from the school office after the announcement of the specific dates for the distribution of forms each application must be accompanied by attested copies of:
- Birth Certificate/ Baptism Certificate.
- One copy of resent passport size of the Student.
- The Mark Sheet of the last examination passed.
All the applications will be processed in the merits and interview.
For withdrawal of students, the parents may apply for a Transfer Certificate in the application form available in the school office and fee will charge for the Transfer Certificate. And the Transfer Certificate can be collected from the school office after the submission of the application and on the payment of prescribed fee. Fees:
